AddressMiddlemount Coal Pty Ltd is an incorporated joint venture between Yancoal Australia and Peabody PCI Australia. The mine produces approximately 4.0 million tonnes of medium-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal and semi-hard coking coal for the export market.
We are looking for an experienced CHPP Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Middlemount Coal. As an integral part of the CHPP team, you will be responsible for overseeing the CHPP maintenance strategy and execution whilst maintaining the CMMS.
About the role:
- Provide visible leadership, advice and support in relevant function.
- Oversee planning and allocation of task activities within the CHPP area to achieve forecasted business results (including health, safety, environment, and community impacts of work).
- Plan and execute the business maintenance strategy for monthly shutdowns.
About You
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role and working environment.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or trade-based qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience with mineral processing plants and/ or wash plant operations
- Supervisory experience with S1,2,3 and G2
