Alpha HPA is an ASX-listed specialty metals and materials company. You will be working as part of a low environmental impact sustainable business, committed to supporting decarbonisation technologies with their innovative refining process.
They are seeking a proactive and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to join their team and lead the charge in optimising their plant's performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be required to develop comprehensive job scopes and work plans for all maintenance activities and minor projects, while managing parts and materials availability to ensure seamless execution of these activities. Further to this, you will plan and supervise external labor resources for maintenance activities and projects, among other duties.
This challenging role will require an experienced mechanical tradesperson (fitter and turner) who may have had some experience leading maintenance or project teams and experience in planning and scoping maintenance work and ultimately improve safety.
We would be really pleased to receive your application should you possess:
- Trade Qualification in Mechanical discipline, preferably with fitting and turning expertise.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within heavy industry.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is essential.
- Experience in setting up CMMS, assessing spare parts needs, and developing maintenance strategies is highly valued.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Project.
- Forklift ticket (High Risk) and White Card Construction are desirable.
- Proven commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Alpha HPA Production Facility is the application of the company’s licensed Smart SX technology to produce a range of high purity aluminium products, most notably their Ultra High Purity Alumina, Ultra High Purity Precursors and Ultra Boehmite.
These products will provide the raw materials used by leading decarbonisation growth industries including LED lighting and lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.
