Batchfire Resources Pty Ltd is an Australian private company that owns and operates the Callide Mine near Biloela in Central Queensland.
A long-standing operation, Callide Mine is an open- cut coal mine producing thermal coal for domestic power generation and alumina refining. The operation has significant recoverable coal reserves and long-term supply contracts in place, ensuring its long-term future.
The career opportunity
The role of Maintenance Coordinator presents an exciting career opportunity to be part of an expanding Maintenance and Engineering Department.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will execute planned major outages on field and mobile equipment, ensuring compliance to plan. You will ensure that the team resources allocated for all major works have the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill their roles. You will measure and report Work Management KPI’s, ensuring the processes for the major planned works is delivered safely, efficiently and executes the most cost-effective result. You will nurture key stakeholder relationships and adhere to SHMS protocols. You will complete monthly reporting and adhere to contractor management policies.
This is a permanent, full-time position working an even time day shift only roster at Callide Mine near Biloela.

You are a great communicator, time manager and are a natural at developing trusting relationships across all parts of the organisation. You are driven and keen to be involved in a range of organisation initiatives and projects and are self-motivated and proactive in identifying and actioning areas of improvement.
You are career-focused and keen to learn, develop and progress in a changing and challenging, yet rewarding environment. Experience in Coal Plant, Draglines and major fleet outages would be highly desirable.
