The PSG Senior Relationship Manager helps orchestrate the delivery and execution of the entire spectrum of Citi€™s products and services within Australia. She/he will relationship manage an existing portfolio of clients at the Federal and State levels, target new prospective clients and help identify future business and cross sell opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Be a primary client and internal business partner interface for a portfolio of government clients. Identify customer needs and recommend solutions to address these needs.
- Expand a portfolio of existing accounts with varying financial needs with the objective of revenue growth and good credit quality, in line with Citi€™s credit standards, policies and processes. Originate and cross-sell banking products - including cash management, trade services, foreign exchange, commodities, derivatives, fixed income, loans and capital market products - with a view to expanding clients€™ share of wallet, in line with the relationship strategy.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and managing /reporting control issues with transparency. Manage the credit due diligence, credit excesses, KYC and AML requirements against the PSG client portfolio.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in client sales or coverage role within financial services industry. Self-starter with proactive, client-centric attitude
- Ability to work within a matrix organisation and partner effectively with Product partners, Risk managers and Banking colleagues
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), presentation skills, and analytical skills - including assimilating new information quickly and relating it to the needs of the client portfolio
- Strong understanding of Banking products (Loans, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Cash Management, Trade), sound knowledge of Capital Markets and Structured Finance products, and comprehensive knowledge of credit analysis
Education:
- Bachelor's degree / University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
