Based at the Millar Road Landfill Facility (MRLF) in Baldivis your sound knowledge of waste and landfill operations skills will be utilised coordinate the implementation of the “Food Organics, Garden Organics” (FOGO) waste collection system across the City of Rockingham. Ideally you have demonstrated knowledge or projects management from conception through to delivery and review. You will have a strong passion for the environment and managing waste efficiently to ensure future generations reap the benefits of the community’s efforts in sustainability.
You must address the following selection criteria when submitting your online application:
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management and/or support, from conception through to delivery and review
- Sound knowledge of waste and landfill operations or relevant industry experience
- Ability to research, analyse and compile detailed information
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation
- Sound computer literacy with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Formal tertiary qualification in relevant field related to project management and waste or sustainability
We are offering a gross salary starting from $82,627 per annum depending on skills and experience, and:
- 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
