Civcon Civil & Project Management is a Western Australian civil construction and project management company and are seeking an experienced Community Liaison Officer to join our team. About the Role:
Due to a number of high-profile Projects across the Perth metropolitan area, we require a Community Liaison Officer who is willing to work in a site office-based environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of effective community and stakeholder engagement of the delivery of various projects in a joint approach with our clients. The Community Liaison Officer essential in providing strategic alliances for proactive and positive interactions and engagement between project personnel and all internal and external community stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Developing strategic alliances with client’s and key community stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of various projects
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day community engagement for projects by direct liaison with affected businesses and residents during the term of the project and communicating current project information
- Being the key point of contact for all stakeholders impacted by the projects
- Responsible for enquiries and complaints management process in line with Client’s customer commitments including clear instructions for escalation and resolution within a reasonable timeframe
- Management of Stakeholder Database Management Processes outlining how this information will be used and stored to respect privacy considerations
- Holding working group meetings, developing agendas, taking minutes of meetings
- Ensuring compliance of KPI’s and SLA’s set by our Clients
- Training employees on the requirements of media enquiries, public enquiries and complaints
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Qualification in Public Relations, Marketing, Communication, Community Engagement or Media
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in community or stakeholder engagement;
- Demonstrated ability to respectfully manage customer complaints;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing
- WA Drivers Licence and own transport;
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent time management
