Permanent, Full-Time Opportunity Available
Salary Range - $1,407 - $1,512 per week plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

The Role
Working as part of the Civil Works team, this role encompasses capital works and maintenance works for the City of Mitcham. The position holder will work across all aspects of the Civil Works team to ensure work outcomes and pre-determined work standards are met and that cost competitiveness is maintained.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
•Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate;
•MR Truck Licence;
•White Card;
•Experience with civil construction and maintenance including paving, concrete,asphalt, and stormwater works;
•A comprehensive knowledge of safe and efficient work practices particularly aspresented in Council’s Standard Operating Procedures essential;
•Basic understanding of maths, plan reading, quantity estimation and civil principles;and
•High self-motivation with the ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.
•Desirable: Licences and experience with Skid Steer loader, Excavator, Backhoe, FrontEnd Loader, and a Certificate in Civil Construction.
