Pini Group covers every discipline in modern Civil Engineering. Our services cover all project phases: feasibility studies, conceptual design, design, construction design, site supervision, implementation with a significant growth of its operations in Australia in its core competency, which is underground engineering, we are seeking a full-time experienced Civil Engineer experienced in underground structures, civil construction, and tunnelling projects to integrate into our design team.
Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Sound understanding of principles of civil and geotechnical design;
· Sound understanding of principles of underground engineering;
· Ensure compliance with quality standards, drafts and projects specifications; sound knowledge and application of Australian Standards;
· Involvement in updating and understanding of project programming/scheduling;
· Reading and interpreting Civil Engineering drawings;
· Performing all work to satisfy company, client and government conditions and requirements, policies, procedures, regulations and standards;
· 2D/3D FEM modelling with software packages available;
· Geotechnical and Structural calculations;
· Preparation of required reports, including technical/compliance and calculation reports;
· Evaluate efficiency of construction methods and procedures;
· Preparation of clear inputs for BIM modeller/ CAD drafter for graphical output and digital twin, including reinforcement detailing;
· Reviewing and annotating REVIT models and/or drawings
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
· Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Enthusiasm for Field/Site work and a willingness to constantly learn and develop
· Good attention to detail with the ability to deliver high quality results within budget, quality, and time constraints.
· Excellent time management and teamwork skills
· A passion for working and continued learning and professional development
· The desire to produce outstanding results for your clients and employer daily.
· Willingness to travel to meet business needs.
