Civil Engineer

Great opportunity for a Civil Roads Engineer to join a Rural Project Delivery Company in the Wide Bay / Burnett region.

We are willing to build a role around the right person with a collaborative and supportive team environment to provide a stable, secure, ongoing and challenging workload in a range of Civil Infrastructure projects in Gympie, the surrounding region and sometimes further afield.
The ideal person will have a proven ability to achieve project outcomes, deliver on promises, whilst priding themselves on developing and maintaining strong relationships.
You would be responsible for:

• Technical and quality delivery of assigned multidisciplinary projects
• Maintaining commercial aspects of assigned projects and client relations
• Contribute to the execution of projects based on outlined criteria
• A record of managing your workload priorities around deadlines
• Embracing and fostering a culture of excellent value, service and mutually beneficial professional relationships with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a commitment to current HSE standards.
• Some travel at times throughout the region.

As a guide, you would need:

• At least 6 months of Civil Roads Infrastructure Construction industry experience and a good understanding of local Queensland industry standards.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills
• Experience working on Local Gov’t and DTMR Projects would be highly desirable

Minimum Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; (although we may consider a B/Tech if you are currently studying toward a full Civil ENG degree)
• Open unrestricted driver’s licence

The normal hours are nominally 40 per week, Monday to Friday.
