Our South Walker Creek mine in the Bowen Basin has a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to fill a critical project role in our team. You will provide leadership, strategic and tactical direction to the project function ensuring delivery and planning of safe, high quality project performance. You will be responsible for:Ensuring alignment between stakeholders & business requirements to plan and deliver projects on time to budget.Build a culture of continuous improvement based on Stanmore values.Manage external relationships proactively and participate in procurement and contract award, including leading the technical evaluation of bidders.Complete study, selection, execution and commissioning of projects to ensure safe, fit for purpose ad effective solutions to operational requirements.Design and supervise projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.Conduct site investigations and analyze data for project feasibility.Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.Ensure projects meet quality standards and safety regulations.
