Civil Engineer

The Company
A medium sized and privately owned specialist Civil Engineering design consultancy who have been operating in the market for 15 years. With a great variety of clients they deliver a range of land development, urban development and road infrastructure projects with offices across New South Wales and Queensland.
The Role
As part of their growth strategy, a key hire has been identified at a Civil Engineer level to work on infrastructure and subdivision projects that the company are involved in.
The Responsibilities
As a Civil Design Engineer:

• Preparation of Civil Engineering designs and reports for subdivision bulk earthworks and road and drainage, including OSD and WSUD.
• Preparation of Civil Engineering designs and reports for building projects, including bulk earthworks, car parks and stormwater drainage (OSD and WSUD).
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities.
• Work closely with engineering team members to clarify design and/or documentation issues throughout the design, documentation and construction phases.
• Proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and run assigned projects tasks.
• Provide regular project reviews and reporting to the Design Manager and Directors as required.
• Provide technical advice to management, staff and clients.
• Undertake site inspections as required.

The Requirements
With projects spanning land/urban development as well as road infrastructure, they are looking for a Civil Design Engineer who can demonstrate experience in leading projects across one or more of these sectors. You will therefore be able to demonstrate:

• 2+ years previous Civil Engineering design experience desirable but not essential.
• Good working knowledge and experience with 12d and/or Civil 3D design package.
• Knowledge and understanding of Music and Drains software.
• Full working rights in Australia.
