AddressAn established Civil Engineering consultancy business that delivers innovative, practical, and sustainable design and project management solutions to their clients, is looking to bring on an experienced ‘Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Water Management’ on a permanent basis. Role: Senior Civil Engineer - Urban Water Management Work Type: Permanent Work Style: Hybrid Salary: Depending on experience Location: North Sydney or Parramatta
Responsibilities:
- Design and project management of significant Urban Development projects including responsibility for civil works specifications, engineering reports and tenders
- Managing the delivery of all design aspects of a project on time and to standards
- Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
- Understanding of safety in design practices and processes
- Apply your technical expertise to help mentor junior engineers
Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of DRAINS and MUSIC is essential
- Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modelling & flood risk management
- Experience working on civil infrastructure and urban development projects
- Knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
