Drafting and Design:

• Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
• Develop plans, sections, elevations, and construction details to illustrate project requirements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project objectives and incorporate design changes as necessary.
• Participate in design reviews and communicate effectively with team members to address feedback.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to incorporate into drafting work.

Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including record drawings, as-built drawings, and other relevant documents.
• Organize and manage drawing files to facilitate easy access and retrieval of information.

Quality Control:

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards before finalizing and distributing to the project team.
• Assist in identifying and resolving potential design conflicts and issues.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify design intent and resolve any discrepancies in the drawings.
• Provide support during the construction phase by addressing requests for information (RFIs) and clarifications.

Technology Integration:

• Stay current with advancements in drafting and design software to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Implement new tools and technologies that contribute to the improvement of the drafting process.

Deadline Management:

• Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Communicate any potential delays or challenges to the project team in a timely manner.

Qualification & Experience
