ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Civil Engineering Technologist at Rise & Shine Education is crucial in developing and managing teams. They oversee CIVIL ENGINEERING projects, from planning and design to construction and maintenance. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on problem-solving skills, and practical teamwork abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages CIVIL ENGINEERING projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
They plan, design, and supervise construction and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Conducts feasibility studies to evaluate proposed plans or projects.
Review construction plans for compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
Maintains quality assurance systems and implements business improvement initiatives.
Evaluate materials for quality and suitability for intended purposes.
Collaborates with development and management teams to achieve project objectives.
Liaises with key stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory authorities.
Supervises and coordinates the work of other Engineering Technicians.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in CIVIL ENGINEERING.
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and technical documentation.

Proficiency in technology use and engineering systems development.
