The Opportunity
To continue our growth across various market sectors, Black Cat Civil are keen to hear from experienced Civil Estimators interested in joining our team. The role will be based at our Nambour Office on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
You will work closely with the Black Cat Civil Senior Estimator and Construction Managers, the successful Estimator will champion the pre-contracts process from tender selection, first principle estimating to contract award.
Key responsibilities include:
General responsibilities for your position include:
• Provide first principle estimates for tender review.
• Compile tender programs and schedules
• Complete detailed risk analysis and recommend risk contingency within tenders
• Liaise and review subcontractor pricing for tenders.
• Complete management reviews of tenders
• Travel will be required
Desired skills & experience:
This opportunity is ideal for any motivated professional, looking to grow with a company.
• Minimum of 4 years post grad site experience.
• Experience with programming software such as Asta Power Project, Pronamics Expert Estimation and MS Projects will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Experienced in tendering road, rail, resource related infrastructure projects.
• This role would also suit a Project Manager seeking a change from project delivery
