Our Cost Engineering department is critical to the management of Project costs and resources.
This is a new opportunity for aCivil Estimator to work collaboratively as part of a large, multidisciplinary team based in the Melbourne CBD. The successful candidate will be committed to successful outcomes for our clients, enthusiastic about challenges and committed to continuously learning and developing.
The Estimator is responsible for:
- Developing cost estimates and programs for projects varying in size, complexities, and disciplines.
- Developing the reports required to present to clients.
- Liaise with various stakeholders (client side), managing their expectations for project delivery, escalating project issues, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership as appropriate.
- Assist in preparation of documentation related to the program, project delivery and any related phasing diagrams for clients.
- Ongoing client liaison and business development.
This role offers great diversity across various industries including Roads and Bridge Infrastructure, Tunnels, Dams, Airports, Rail, Mining, Resources, Energy and Water. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in the construction, infrastructure, or utilities sector.
- A great communicator and collaborator.
- Experience with Pronamics Expert Estimation (preferred) and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project. Bluebeam and P6 desirable.
- Degree or Diploma qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
