About the Role
We are looking for an experienced sales development representative ready to take the next step in their career. Droppoint wants to take the prospecting skills you have previously developed and help you grow into an effective end-to-end, lead generation to executed contract sales person. Playing a critical role in helping the team achieve our customer acquisition and account development targets, you will collaborate with our Growth Team to expand the Droppoint footprint. You will be directly involved in working with numerous field service organisations across multiple industries, assisting them in solving their most critical challenges and capitalizing on their most important opportunities.
Responsible for growing the business, you will partner with Business Development and technical execution stakeholders to identify and win major opportunities. You will also manage a portfolio of growth targets within Droppoint’s existing customer base. Droppoint operates at a fast pace, and in this role, you'll be expected to make independent decisions. As a solution-focused organisation, we constantly manage new business challenges and learn on the job. We are looking for driven teammates who can enthusiastically tackle any situation.
What You’ll Do
- Research and identify potential viable customer opportunities to build a qualified pipeline.
- Understand individual customer needs and requirements.
- Proactively source new sales opportunities through consistent prospecting, follow-up, and outreach.
- Collaborate with other Growth Team members to improve and streamline internal processes.
- Develop customer profiles, including identifying target customer needs and the most effective way to address them.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers and drive improvements in revenue, service, and outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- Proven sales development experience (4-5 years).
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience selling using specific sales methodologies (e.g., solution selling, challenger sales model, etc.).
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to compellingly articulate Droppoint’s value proposition to audiences with varying levels of technical skill and seniority.
- Ability to understand potential customers' requirements and how Droppoint can address them.
- Experience building and managing relationships and collaborating with internal partners and external counterparts.
- Ability to think outside the box and beyond traditional strategies to achieve goals.
