.Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Foreman to join our team in Rouse Hill, Riverstone, Hawkesbury area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, including scheduling, coordinating tasks, and managing resources.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular toolbox meetings and inspections.
Liaise with local councils and authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of up to 15 workers, including subcontractors and laborers.
Coordinate and manage bulk earthworks, drainage, and other civil construction activities.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license is essential.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of on-site experience in civil construction.
Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
Experience dealing with council requirements and obtaining necessary permits.
Proven experience in managing teams of up to 15 people.
Proficiency in bulk earthworks, drainage, and other civil construction techniques.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Must be in Ausralia with full working rights.
