About the role
McIlwain are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor who will be responsible for the execution and completion of construction works needed to meet project requirements on a key project in the Blue Mountains.
Duties
- Carry out construction works using safe work practices and always ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the Project Manager/Senior Supervisor/Construction Manager about overall project requirements.
- Supervisor must ensure that all active tasks have a relevant and complete Pre task assessment.
- Plan and organise timely provision of resources for the works completion.
- Implement all environmental, traffic, Workplace Health & Safety requirements for the works.
Skills & experience
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience as a Supervisor or Leading Hand on civil construction projects
- Experience in Geotechnical Slope Stabilisation projects highly regarded
- Current Drivers Licence and White Card
