In this role, you will be working for our Infrastructure Services business which forms part of the CV group.
The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works on commercial and industrial projects in southeast Queensland.
We have over 110 team members with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for our wide range of clients.
About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Civil Supervisor to join our team based at Hendra.
The Role:
Daily organisation and running of a civil team – mainly trenching.
Integrating with an electrical team to complete projects together.
Completing underground electrical/communications infrastructure.
Co-ordinating with other sub-contractors, material and plant deliveries onsite.
Reading drawings, interpreting site levels and alignments, cross sections etc.
Coordinate and participate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox meetings
Communicate with client and stakeholders during construction
About You
5 + years’ experience working in the civil construction industry
Can demonstrate previous work history experience as a leading hand or supervisor
Can demonstrate experience installing electrical/communications conduits.
Can demonstrate experience and understanding of civil construction techniques.
Can demonstrate a good understanding of underground services and working around them.
MR or HR Driving Licence + Skid/steer & excavator experience desirable
Enthusiastic to work on and off the tools – this is an adaptable 70/30 role.
High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as a great eye for detail
Excellent relationship skills and a great team player
Flexible and easy going attitude
