Position Purpose and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and suitably experienced Return to Work Coordinator to join our team. This opportunity is pivotal in managing WorkCover Claims and ensuring a smooth and supportive transition for employees returning to work after injury. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage all new claims that are accepted by the insurer.
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders; our apprentices and trainees,  internal field team, employer partners, insurers and medical providers, ensuring effective communication to all parties involved.
  • Lead the development and implementation of return to work programs
  • Ensure accurate reporting and fata collection of each claim, with reports submitted to senior management team as required.
  • Ensure relevant policies are accurate and update as legislative changes take effect. 
  • Lead a program internally that focuses on injury prevention strategies.

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of injury and claims management and workers' compensation legislation across VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD, WA and SA.
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Training
  • Experience in site visits relating to workplace injuries
