Claims Consultant

Whitbread Insurance Brokers is actively seeking a talented Claims Consultant to join our Claims Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with solid claims management experience who is looking to further develop their skills in a growing organisation. This role involves exposure to various classes of insurance, with a focus on Property and Residential Strata Insurance.  

Duties include:

• End-to-end management of a claims portfolio; 
• Liaising with brokers, repairers, assessors and underwriters in a professional manner;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure customer satisfaction levels are met;
• Working well in a team with both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

• minimum 3 years of broking and property claims experience (strata related);
• must have the right to work in Australia;
• possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
• be committed to personal and professional development.

Desired Qualities/Experience:

• excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• capable of working in a fast paced office environment which includes managing a large portfolio while maintaining an eye for detail; 
• be proactive and flexible; willing to "pitch in" and help others when needed;
• Have a "can do" attitude and demonstrated ability to use initiative.
