This position is an exciting role as you will be applying your skill set, representing policy holders regarding the Claims Management process in relation to Property Claims. Maxim Building Services specialise in roof replacements for residential & commercial dwellings, offering a one stop process for clients as we negotiate their insurance claims and undertake the repair works.
The role includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Establish a professional customer service telephone manor with Customers, Insurance Companies and Claims Intermediaries.
- Manage a portfolio of claims End to End with customers, insurance companies and claims intermediaries, to obtain a successful settlement agreement which translates to a building contract as a representative of Maxim Building Services.
- Ensure that a strong project follow up system is maintained.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Professionally presented with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Prior experience managing Property Claims or a similar role is essential.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to perform cold call phone calls.
- Negotiate claims with customers, insurance companies & claims intermediaries End to End.
- Convert all potential agreements to a valid claim.
- Strong analytical & computer skills.
- Able to perform a minimum success rate of 70% for converting claims to building contracts.
- Attend regular claims meetings.
- Be involved in coaching/training sessions to develop your full potential.
- Establish friendly work relationships with all Maxim Building employees.
- Assist in the Maxim plan to grow its market into NSW and Qld.
- Educate yourself in products, processes, and techniques (knowledge is power).
- Attend “plan on a page” reviews (6 monthly reviews).
- Assist in establishing ongoing procedures for all sales and marketing activities.
- Demonstrate strong ethics, integrity, honesty and communication skills.
- Operate in a safe manner in accordance with all safety law requirements.
