The Position:
We have an amazing opportunity for a customer-focused Claims Officer to join our team in Melbourne's western suburbs. The Claims Officer will take a proactive approach to ensuring that each claim is thoroughly investigated, and that customer communication is of the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of claims end-to-end, in a fast-paced environment
- Evaluate and conduct thorough investigations of new claims to establish validity
- Ensure claims are processed within given time frames to ensure compliance with our service standard
- Liaise with national stakeholders to complete thorough investigation
- Data analysis, reporting and administrative support
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve KPI’s
Skills and Experience:
- Prior automotive claims experience highly regarded
- Proven Customer Service professional with extensive administration experience
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work through complex issues
- Go-getter attitude and can make things happen quickly
- Customer-centric mindset with a desire to provide an outstanding customer experience with empathy and ability to build rapport with customers
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Confident decision maker with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong negotiator with an ability to manage conflict
- Desire and ability to build meaningful relationships across the business
