About the Role
As a Claims Officer, you will report to the head of claims and manage a portfolio of motor insurance claims. This role is involved in the end-to-end claims handling process and provides support to the wider team within the commercial motor insurance line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diligent maintenance of electronic claim files ensuring all claim documentation is uploaded to the claim file in a timely manner
- Application of claim settlements
- Liaising and instructing investigators and assessors
- Deliver high quality customer service and develop a good working relationship with all customers and service providers
- Process claims in line with set procedures and policies for a prompt and effective outcome
- Facilitate open dialogue with stakeholders in relation to policy interpretation and specific claim management issues.
- Ad hoc administrative duties as and when required.
About You
- 1 + years experience in a general insurance environment, ideally in motor insurance
- Able to speak Hindi or Urdu highly regarded.
- Good verbal and written communication, including professional phone manner
- Knowledge of claims management processes
- Experience utilizing a major claims management system
- Good technical/computer skills
- Experienced in working with other business stakeholders to gather information
- Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative and be proactive.
