I am partnered with a State Government Agency in the heart of Geelong to recruit a Claims Support Team within the Medical Examiners Hub for an immediate start until the 15th November 2024.
Your new role
- Completing Doc Pages for IME arrange examination requests ie FOI, Clinical Notes, relevant material needed for IMEs
- Updating Service Decision on active claims for all IBCs in DC and ending service decision on claims that have been determined and review rights have expired (12months have passed since determination), adding SDs for all PMRS
- Calling clients following up general authority form and uploading this on Avanti once received
- Following up FOI and Radiology/ reports on MeB – use system by leaving messageson MeB or getting in touch with MeB via email
- Following up IME reports, Supplementary reports and Addendum reports with MeBand examiners
- Uploading reports from MB to Avanti
- Working through Invoice tasks using ready reckoner
- Indexing tasks
- Drafting Intro Letters/Not Stable to Clients for IBC – following task instructions
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong written communication
- Attention to detail
- Confident on the phone
- Ability to work (mostly autonomously) – using guidance documents
- Advanced admin skills
- Strong Microsoft Suite Experience, including Excel
- Strong computer skills – ability to pick up platforms, including Mbridge and Avanti, and upload and download documents
- Experience as a PA/Legal assistant or Medical/Legal Admin assistant
