About You
The successful Claims Team Leader will have the personality and characteristics of a modern leader: A strong clear communicator who sets a high-performance standard and coaches and mentors team members to reach that standard by applying a fair, honest and open management style.
The role – Claims Team Leader
- Develop, coach, and motivate a team to meet agreed key performance indicators, driving service excellence across the full claim lifecycle.
- Ensuring company processes and procedures are maintained and adhered to
- Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims
- Build and maintain lasting relationships across our client base
- Continual performance and progress reporting
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities that continually improve Claims performance
- Provide detailed input into ongoing process and system development
- Provide input into staffing requirements and recruitment
- Co-ordinating with broader management / business team to ensure seamless customer experience and common objectives are met / achieved
- Reporting to senior management on a monthly basis
Skills and Experience
- Previous claims management or equivalent and relevant experience in insurance claims management
- Proven ability in leading and motivating people
- Ability to influence, develop, and coach to ensure a positive customer experience
- Demonstrated people leadership and relationship building capability
- Ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems
- A core focus on customer outcomes and relations
- Strong commercial acumen
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous claims management or equivalent and relevant experience in insurance claims management
