As Chobani continues its journey to become a World Class Organisation by 2027, we are recruiting a Night Shift Yard Team Leader to lead our small team of 3 based at our Dandenong South manufacturing facility.
As the intermediary between our factory and the warehouse, your team will be responsible for ensuring the accurate transfer of all finished goods and the movement of raw materials from both ambient and chilled warehouses, preparing them for production.
At Chobani, we value work-life balance and offer a schedule that supports it, so in this role you’ll enjoy 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6am on a 6-day fortnight (Monday to Saturday) with every second weekend off, providing ample time for personal pursuits and family.
We are looking for people who:
• Have previous manufacturing experience in a food, beverage or pharma consumer goods company
• Have experience leading and coaching a small team of manufacturing team members
• Have a current Forklift licence (or willing to obtain one)
• Naturally put safety and quality of our people and product first
• Love learning new ways of doing things and are passionate about process improvement
• Genuinely care about people and creating team environments where they can thrive
This is an excellent opportunity to build on your leadership skills in a dynamic consumer goods environment. You'll be coaching and developing a small team, ensuring they are engaged, well-trained, and safe at work, all while thriving in a fast-paced setting.
In return to support your success as a leader, you will take part in Chobani’s frontline leadership program, receive regular structured coaching from your leader and work on a development plan to keep you challenged and learning.
