AddressAt Regis Legana, we are looking for a Cleaner/Housekeeping Assistant to join our Aged Care home on a Casual basis. We are looking for a meticulous and compassionate individual looking to contribute to the well-being of elderly residents in an aged care facility. Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents. Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as an opportunity for you to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.
Set in a tranquil, rural setting, Regis Legana is just a 5-minute drive to the Tamar Island Wetlands, and 20-minutes from Beaconsfield Mine along the picturesque Tamar Valley. We’re beautifully situated and our Home has an authentic country feel to it, alongside magnificent views of the snow-peaked mountain ranges.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift.
- Interacting with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocols.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facility.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
- Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
