ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
Abbotsford Private Hospital is a premier 77 bed mental health and addictions hospital situated in West Leederville, close to the Perth CBD.
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking additional general services officers for our housekeeping and catering departments, on a casual basis. The successful candidates will demonstrate maturity, leadership and professionalism, working within a flexible, dynamic environment.
Selection Criteria:
- Current Working with Children Check
- Police Check
- Casual hours
- Work within a dynamic team
- Rotating roster
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts essential.
- Contribute to the maintenance of cleanliness.
- Comply with the Infection Control Standards, as set in the Aurora Infection Control Policy Practice and Guidelines Manual.
- To deliver excellent customer service, maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, and uphold professional presentation standard of Aurora Employees at all times
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven effective time management skills and the ability to handle a busy workload
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Customer focused attitude
- Food handling background (HACCP system) highly desirable
- Comply with the requirements of the Aurora WHS Safety Management System, in which to enhance patients, staff and visitors comfort and safety.
- Food safety certificate
- Handyperson skills (highly desirable)
