Having expanded our Distillery into Old Young’s Kitchen we have quickly become a must visit dining destination, shooting into the WA Good Food Guide as one of the Top 5 Restaurant of the Year finalist in only our second year, on our mission to elevate the face of drinking and dining in the Swan Valley. We bring the technical prowess of fine dining, with a relaxed attitude and a little of Old Young’s signature brand of irreverence.
As our business rapidly grows, we look to add to our team the role of Assistant Manager to our restaurant, to take with us on our journey. The ideal candidate will:
- See every day like being the host of the party
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience to effectively over see day to day operations and assist the Venue Manager to achieve financial and business targets
- Highly developed understanding and ability to deliver on guest expectations and experiences in line with Old Young's visions and goals
- Strong planning and organisational skills to lead, develop and manage a multi-skilled team
- Have an honest and genuine passion for hospitality, food & great booze
- Be comfortable jumping into all areas of service, from shaking tins, running the pass, holding down a section, juggling bookings or hosting
- Never shy away from a challenge and always be looking for opportunities
- Have the flexibility to work evenings and across all areas of the Venue, including our Tasting Room and leading Masterclasses
- Have an Approved Manager's license
