As part of the Assetlink team, your main focus will be on developing a high-performing cleaning team. You will efficiently assist and manage all day-to-day cleaning operations, including staff training, tracking cleaning service delivery, rostering, auditing, and other operational requirements.The roster for this position is:Monday - 0600 to 1430Tuesday - 0600 to 1430Wednesday - 0600 to 1430Thursday - 0600 to 1430Friday - 1400 to 2230If you have leadership and commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.This position is paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020.Role Requirements:

• Assisting the Cleaning Services Manager in managing a high-performing cleaning team
• Provide effective leadership and support to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training
• Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences
• Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting and assisting with staff rosters, etc
• Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client
• Understand customer's security, environmental and safety requirements
• Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
• Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries

To be considered for the position you must have the following:

• Current Australian C class Driver's Licence
• Must have permanent full work rights in Australia
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail/commercial cleaning
• Previous experience managing a team
• Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good administrative skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Ability to give direction and instruction to people
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure
• Consistent attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends
