The Role – Cleaning Supervisor
Our Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services team has an opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Coastal Lakes College, Lakelands, WA on a Fixed Part-Time basis. Our cleaning teams hold an important role within our local communities by providing a high standard of cleaning services throughout our school's facilities.
You will be responsible for a range of cleaning services within the school as well as effectively manage and lead a team to successfully deliver cleaning services and standards.
Responsibilities will include cleaning of offices, classrooms, toilets, halls and libraries Waste management (Disposal of rubbish & segregation, etc.), security management (Locking/ Arming of facility at end of shift, etc.) and stocking consumables (toilet paper, hand towel, soap, etc.).
About You
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning essential
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles
- Experience in a supervisor role would be an advantage
- Be available Monday to Friday
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong communication skills, a hands-on attitude, Friendly and professional manner.
- Candidates will be required to complete a Working with Children Check, Medical assessment, Department of Education Clearance, and you will be required to meet the vaccination requirements of Downer and/or our client.
- Basic IT skills re Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
