Supporting our NSW School sites across the Newcastle/Central Coast region, Ventia are looking for an experienced Cleaning Trainer and Onboarding Coordinator to work closely with our cleaning staff and supervisors on their quality cleaning and performance standards, as well as collaborating with the recruitment team to focus on the retention and successful completion of onboarding with new employees.This is a full-time permanent position offering $90,000 TFR, plus a company vehicle.If you are passionate, empathetic and love to inspire and help others, whilst supporting our local school community this role is for you!What can we offer you?At Ventia, we value our people and provide a range of other benefits to help you look after yourself and family as you build a rewarding career with us. Job security in a large business Attractive salary within a rewarding industry Key duties include (but are not limited to): Delivery of training programs to all new cleaners against the quality and performance standards. Promoting and monitoring safe work practices. Coordination of the initial onboarding phase of new recruits, from recruitment handover to first shift allocation and follow-up. Provide assistance to the Service Delivery Manager across contract operations. Assistance with quality monitoring inspections, site, and work schedules reviews. Ongoing training of cleaning in scheduled periodic cleaning tasks to meet contract specification. Could you be our next Cleaning Trainer? Previous training experience, preferably in a cleaning environment Previous supervisory experience within facilities management and/or cleaning environment, as well as excellent time management and strong communication skills. Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (Highly regarded) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Risk and SHEQ understanding and commitment. The ability to lead and influence the success of all training requirements of new cleaning employees once the recruitment process is completed. Flexible around start and finish times to ensure delivery of training across contract working hours. Must maintain a valid and current Security Clearance including Working with Children Check.
