As a Clerical In Charge, you will work closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure that the reception and administration team provides a superior service that delivers excellence in diagnostics to our patients and referring doctors. You will be responsible for the practice revenue cycle through effective training and support of administration staff to ensure billings and collection of any out-of-pocket fees are accurately performed each day.
Your role will include:
• Managing site clerical team in relation to rostered hours, patient bookings, arrivals and payments
• Ensure practice and clerical appearance standards are maintained
• Supporting Radiologists with any requests
• Supporting technical staff with regards to services
• Billing a patient prior to departure and entering patient services to ensure revenue cycle is met
• Perform end of day procedures regarding Medicare and DVA claims
• Continuous training and development of site clerical teams
• Other duties as directed by the Administration Services Manager, Site Supervisor

ABOUT YOU
• Background ideally in Radiology, Medical or associated Health care industry
• Leadership abilities to support the team and the practices
• A “can do” attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff and professional easily
• Experience with booking programs - medical programs ideally Karisma
• An understanding of medical terminology and Medicare billing advantageous
This is offering a 9-day Fortnight Monday to Friday working between the hours of 7.00am and 9.00pm (8.5 hours shifts only) with flexibility to work some weekends shifts if required.
