We currently have a new opportunity for a dedicated, compassionate animal lover looking to fulfil our clients’ needs in pet after care, supporting our purpose in “Honouring a life time of unconditional love”.
This is a phone based customer service role which requires a person who can display empathy and compassion whilst delivering a professional service.
About the role:
• Coordinate and schedule bookings with both the public and vet clinics
• Deal with customers in deciding how to memorialise their pets passing
• Prepare the viewing room and pets for viewing
• Assisting clients who bring their pets to the office for cremation services
• Carry out accurate data entry and payment processing
• Facilitate a general range of office tasks
We are looking for a person :
• Who is comfortable in occasionally handling deceased pets
• Who has excellent communication skills with a clear professional phone manner
• Who has attention to detail and excellent written skills
• That is reliable, organised and takes pride in your work
• Who has intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office experience is favourable)
• Who is physically fit as this role will require assistance in handling pets from time to time – able to lift unassisted up to 25 kg
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical including becoming Q Fever vaccinated
