Granite Belt Support Services Inc. (GBSS) is a not-for-profit, registered NDIS provider. GBSS was established in 1990 and currently employs 85+ people working to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities/special needs in the Southern Downs region. GBSS is a busy centre offering NDIS Respite and Day Care, Community Access, a wide range Therapy Services, Education Support and Plan Management.
We are seeking a passionate person to join our Client Services Officer (CSO) team who share our vision and determination to support people to ‘live their best lives’.
About the role
The Client Services Officer role is about building and maintaining relationships with families and clients who choose GBSS as their service provider and ensures that our clients and their families and carers are receiving the highest quality supports.
Our Client Services Officers are responsible for the overall coordination of service delivery and the quality of support services for each individual client and work in collaboration with a range of other staff to ensure quality service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include: -
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Rostering support staff to match clients
- Work collaborative within the CSO Team to best match support workers to clients
- Maintain solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance support options for the client
- Undertake general administration tasks, as required, and work collaboratively with your colleagues to get tasks completed within a timely manner
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Exceptional communication skills both written & verbal
- Demonstrated experience with managing rostering
- Experience working in a dynamic and challenging setting and being able to adapt to change
- Able to work harmoniously in a diverse team environment
- A current Blue Card and NDIS Disability Workers Screening or be willing to apply
- QLD Drivers Licence
- Exceptional time management and organisation
- Willingness to work after hours when required
- Be flexible and have an ability to problem solve in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrated Data and IT skills including Microsoft Office
- A strong sense of accountability and confidentiality
- Willingness to engage and empower clients to meet their goals
- A basic understanding of the NDIS program or the ability to obtain this knowledge
- An understanding of the complex issues and needs people with disability face, and how to best support them and build capacity across all life stages
Desirable for the role: -
- Certificate III Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health, Business Administration or Demonstrated Experience.
- Experience using Flowlogic Software or Similar
- 1-2 years experience in a similar job role.
