Situated on Toowoomba, our client is a well respected long standing financial planning group who now have the opportunity for an experienced Client Service Officer to join their team.
Their team has the knowledge and expertise to provide a wide range of financial services to assist their clients in managing their financial requirements and provide them with complete peace of mind.
They pride themselves on their delivery of professional and specialised services to their high net worth business, private and accounting clientele.
The Role
As a valued member of the team, your focus will be on supporting the financial planning team across a number of divisions.
This role will have an understanding of the working details of investing, portfolio reporting and investment accounting. The role will also be involved in the detail of client portfolios and maintaining records on the day to day basis. A high attention to detail, computer proficiency and excellent problem solving skills are required for success in the role.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Plan recommendation support including quotations, application forms, product switches and redemptions;
- Implementation of client documents;
- Prepare and finalise documentation of SOA's;
- Handling client enquiries and contact;
- Client database management;
- Meeting co-ordination;
- Manage workloads to ensure plans are completed within timeframes; and
- Other duties as required
About You
Together with your professional approach and strong organisational skills, to be considered for this role, you will require the following:
- At least two years previous working as a Client Service Officer and be currently working within the industry;
- Intermediate Xplan skills would be an advantage;
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure all deadlines and responsibilities are met;
- Attention to detail with an ability to grasp new concepts;
- Be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
- Excellent communication and people skills; and
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office suite experience
