They are looking for a passionate, empathetic and dedicated Client Service Officer to join their team in Parramatta ASAP on a contract basis.

The Job...Reporting through to a Team Leader, you will be accountable for:

• Managing inbound and outbound calls.
• Engaging with vulnerable customers via phone, email and written correspondence, addressing financial queries and making decisions as required.
• Proactively reach out to clients and discuss both immediate and future financial needs.
• Developing and updating budgets based on client needs.
• Liaise with other government agencies to maximise benefits, referring clients to other services as needed.
• Writing submissions and reports for complex matters where required.

You...To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a Customer Service role or Case Management position.
• Experience dealing with vulnerable clients is advantageous. 
• Experience working within the Not-for-Profit or Government sectors is ideal.
• Strong multitasking skills to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a high-volume environment.
