The Company

Conveniently located in the Sydney CBD, our client is a well-established and reputable accounting firm, providing business and taxation services to a broad range of clients.

Your new role
Reporting to the Office Manager, you are a highly organised and reliable Client Services Administrator with previous public practice experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will be the main point of contact for clients, and responsible for ASIC administration. Some of your duties may include:

  • Preparing and lodging ASIC documents
  • Keeping up on ASIC and software changes
  • ASIC registrations and changes
  • Setting up discretionary and unit trusts
  • Attending BGL seminars and user groups
  • Fee preparation and management
  • Preparing client correspondence, as well as to the ATO
  • Building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of clients, colleagues and company stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc administrative tasks as required
What you need to succeed
  • 1-2 years recent experience in an accounting firm
  • Previous exposure to ASIC Administration would be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of XERO, CAS 360 ASIC and ATO poral or similar systems would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills gained within an internal client-facing environment
  • Excellent organisation, timekeeping and prioritisation skills
  • Be able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team
  • Have strong skills in the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
