Client Services Manager - Photography Services

SMAART Recruitment is excited to partner with one of Australia's most recognised photography brands specialising in photographic services to Schools, Dance, Early Learning, Sports and Events.
For over 30 years they have built up a strong client base by consistently delivering quality photographs at an affordable price. Priding themselves on providing a high level of customer service they have continued to grow and are now looking for a Clients Services Manager to lead their team and grow their business.
THE ROLE:
The Client Service Manager acts as the primary contact for current clients and works to secure new opportunities for the business.
You will directly lead the client and customer services teams and work collaboratively with other department managers to ensure the smooth delivery of work end to end.
Additionally, the role supports the development and rollout of marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Managing Director and Graphic Designer.
Some of your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Delivery of high-quality customer service to clients to ensure the smooth operation of photo sessions
- Visiting school photo days to build client relationships and better understand their unique need
- Secure new client opportunities and bookings for the business in dedicated sectors with a vision to expand into other areas
- Assist Heads of Departments with the day-to-day management and supervision of staff
- Conduct monthly performance assessments/one-on-ones with any staff that reports directly
ABOUT YOU:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience working in a similar role or experience selling a product/service into primary and secondary schools
- Strong ability to build relationships and secure new business opportunities
- Experience in the leadership, and development of a small-medium sized team
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills to manage workloads and priorities as well as delegating tasks
- Upbeat and friendly demeanor with the confidence to talk and adjust your approach to people at all levels within a business
- Prior industry experience working within a photographic environment or design business (ideal to have)
NOTE: As you will be required to drive to meet with clients a car and license is essential for this role.
