Hammond & Neale are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Client Side Project Manager to join our Brisbane team.
The RoleOur firm is looking for an individual with a passion for project management and an interest in working on a variety of challenging and diverse projects ranging from minor works to new projects up to $50m in value. As an active member of the project management team you will be responsible for:
- Leading the project team and ensuring that they are aligned with the project vision, objectives and deliverables.
- Communicating with the client and driving client satisfaction.
- Briefing the team, ensuring the team is clear on their roles and expectations.
- Managing project delivery to ensure that the project is delivered to program, budget and quality expectations.
- Facilitating the resolution of risks and issues.
- Communicating regularly with a wide range of audiences such as internal and external stakeholders in a clear and confident manner, including leading project team meetings.
To be considered for the role applicants would need to demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Able to contribute to the fun, dynamic and creative team culture we pride ourselves on at Hammond & Neale.
- Capable of showing initiative, strength in teamwork and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Client Side Project Manager.
- A history managing or demonstrating a personal passion for projects in the Education, Community or similar project environments will be highly regarded but isn’t essential.
- The ability to build and maintain long term client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- An understanding of projects ranging from minor works and refurbishments to new construction.
- A general understanding of the project approval and delivery process .
- Rounded project management skills including design and tender process management, stakeholder management, contract administration principals, risk management and project delivery.
- A history managing or demonstrating a personal passion for projects in the Education, Community or similar project environments will be highly regarded but isn’t essential.
