About the Role
COHA Group are looking for the right people so will adapt the role to suit the person. The Project Manager will:
- Demonstrate excellent time, cost and quality management across several projects.
- Be capable of developing a high level understanding of client expectations and ability to form and maintain positive relationships.
- Take a project leadership role in proactively and independently managing project scope, time, cost, quality, communications, risk, procurement and integration to achieve client and project objectives.
- Be personable, professional when communicating with all staff and project team members with respect and trust.
- Be motivated and enthusiastic, and able to take responsibility for the decisions required to achieve project milestones.
- Demonstrate a high level of written and verbal communication skills with all stakeholders.
- Have exceptional time management and highly organised, displaying high levels of problem solving.
- Demonstrate exceptional client management, building rapport and developing a environment of trust with the client, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Manage all design consultants including procurement, engagement, reviewing documentation, and co-ordination of consultant outputs and administration of consultancy services agreements.
- Administer the building contract as the Superintendent.
- Demonstrate experience in managing project controls including MS Suite or equivalent.
- Exhibit sound construction knowledge and ability to technically and commercially understand all variables for a range of projects.
- Have the ability to formulate project plans, including program, budget, and quality outcomes, and guide and influence contractors at all stages of a project.
- Demonstrate a commitment to form lasting, trusting relationships and deliver outcomes aligned to the goals and objectives of COHA.
- Have the ability to implement and add value to our company systems and processes to positively impact on the group’s overall productivity and success.
- Motivate and encourage the team and drive a performance culture.
Background
COHA Group are looking for the right people so will adapt the role to suit the person. The following criteria are not essential, but your application will be highly regarded if you can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5-7 years professional experience in project management;
- Experience in both the design phases and delivery phases of a project;
- An ability to manage project teams, stakeholders and clients effectively and collaboratively;
- Competency in MS Suite of products, such as MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
- Experience in Sport, Hospitality and Leisure sectors is not a pre-requisite for this role but will be highly regarded.
