What's the role?
This role and your team sit within Newsamp, our integrated partnerships department; we are a team of multidisciplinary experts passionate about integrating brands into conversation through cutting-edge content
Leading a high performing team of solutions specialists to develop creative, integrated advertising campaigns to deliver growth for our clients
Responsible for collaborating with Client Strategy & Insights, Sales and Digital Solutions teams to set and deliver the vision, business planning, engagement roadmap and priorities across the sales patch
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies and with key internal stakeholders
Responsible for ensuring that the Client Solutions team works cohesively and collaborates with the Client Strategy & Insights team to manage your portfolio's growth and deliver long term value
Responsible for fostering a high performance environment ensuring the team has clarity on strategy and key objectives and where they are responsible for deliverables.
Who are you?
Experience within the media, advertising, publishing or marketing industry
Substantial experience working in commercial management and/or sales of media brands and/or networks
Understanding of how to lead a team with an eye for talent and ability to identify development opportunities to grow the skills of others
Experience in client and category business planning, sales strategies, market pitching and securing revenue and increasing market share
Experience developing end-to-end, strategic commercial solutions and partnerships that drive revenue
Knows how to build and nurture relationships internally and externally
Ability to negotiate, problem-solve and overcome issues while maintaining a respectful approach
Highly organised with an eye for detail and an acumen for numbers
Excellent communication and presentation skills and a keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives.
