An exciting commercial opportunity has become available for a Clinical Application Specialist – General Imaging | Ultrasound, Adelaide and South Australia to join our high performing team where your clinical experience as a sonographer within General Imaging | Ultrasound and a customer centric approach will be highly valued. It is desirable that the successful candidate be based in or around Adelaide. Reporting to the Clinical Application Manager – General Imaging | Ultrasound, you will work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and customers to play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our Ultrasound business.
Your role:
Providing clinical support throughout the entire life cycle of the relationship with both new and existing customers, you will work in partnership with Account Managers to deliver pre-sale presentations and demonstrations on the Philips Ultrasound portfolio including advanced imaging techniques. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing customer satisfaction, and elevating the efficiency of patient care, through providing effective training around the optimal use of our equipment once delivered / installed and handed over by Philips.
Other key responsibilities
Promote Philips Healthcare solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars, and trade shows.
Train customers in applying optimal usage of the equipment delivered enabling users to follow clinical procedures and protocols to achieve best practice.
Train / re-train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrade and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment
Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and customer satisfaction.
Be aware and to manage at all times the quality and safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations.
Supporting the business with input on configurations, working with the Account Manager, Clinical Applications Manager and Clinical Modality Sales Specialist to provide clinical feedback to assist in funnel management.
You're the right fit if:
You have postgraduate studies in General Imaging | Ultrasound with ideally a minimum of 3 years in-depth clinical experience within a public and/or private medical imaging department.
Experience with advanced imaging technologies, or imaging subspecialties is highly desirable.
Previous experience in presentations and training or experience within a commercial environment will be highly regarded.
Outstanding relationship building and communication skills with high levels of motivation, energy, and a drive to achieve results.
The ability to travel across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific as required.
