About the Role
Hollywood Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Coderto join our expanding Health Information Services team. We offer a flexible work environment with a supportive network of experienced staff.
As a Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate abstraction and assignment of inpatient episodes.
About You
To be a successful candidate you will have:
- Experience coding independently in a tertiary or secondary hospital
- Completion of a recognised Coding course or equivalent
- Strong understanding of casemix and Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG)
- Demonstrated good understanding of anatomy, physiology, diseases, and pathological processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement activities.
