We have an opportunity for a highly skilled nurse to join Accent Home Care, we are a Home Care Package (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provider.
The applicant must be passionate and be a dynamic leader with proven practical clinical skills to deliver a Clinical Community Care Nursing Program.
This role requires a Nurse with strong leadership and administration skills, with the ability to coordinate people and processes.
Having a hands-on approach and a great ‘can do’ attitude is essential for this role, to promote a positive and proactive culture, which has a focused on continuous quality improvement.
Key Duties
- Achieve growth and develop the Community Nursing program
- Manage a team of RNs to deliver community nursing services
- Ensure nursing services are scheduled and billable
- Provide clinical oversite of all HCP and CHSP services
- Maintain a reduced clinical nursing case load
- Report on the nursing service against service delivery targets
- Deliver in-home clinical assessments, reviews and care needs for customers
- Provide clinical advice and support to consumers and provide referrals to services where more specialized support/advice may be required
- Provide excellent support, training and mentoring to our frontline support staff
- Ability to be on call when required.

The successful candidate will have
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1 along with Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Experience in Team Leadership within Community, Healthcare or Aged Care nursing experience
- A caring, energetic, and professional approach to support clients with a diverse range of needs
- Knowledge and understanding of the diverse needs of older people
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Your own Car with a driver’s license
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current police clearance certificate
