What you'll be doing
Western Sydney Diabetes (WSD) is helping to enable integrating diabetes care among General Practice teams, Community Allied Health providers, Community Health workers and acute Hospital services.
A Dietitian is required as part of a multi-disciplinary team for diabetes clinical care. The focus of this work will be for the new Diabetes Clinic at Mt Druitt Community Health Centre that includes Diabetes Specialists, Clinical Operations and General Practice. The clinic will be a hybrid of face to face and telehealth.

Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics, acceptable to the membership of the Dietitians’ Association of Australia (DAA).
Selection Criteria:
- Clinical expertise in the management of people with Type 1 and Type 2
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills in dietetic practice.
- Well-developed written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, effective time management and ability to prioritise workload.
- Able to work as an effective team member as well as work independently, including flexibility and adaptability.
- Good computer skills, including experience using Cerner eMR or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service evaluation processes
- Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
