Creating a brighter future for life in the Tropics and beyond, through education and research that makes a difference locally, and globally, James Cook University (JCU) now has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Educator to join the Discipline of Physiotherapy and the JCU Interprofessional Clinic, based at the Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville. This is a full-time, 3-year fixed term appointment. Remuneration is at Academic Level A/B: $73,551 - $121,815 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation.
WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE
In conjunction with existing Clinicians, you will be responsible for the clinical education, supervision and assessment of undergraduate physiotherapy students at the JCU Interprofessional Clinic. You will be committed to the delivery of contemporary teaching, practical classes, workshops and assessments as well as the delivery of high-quality clinical management for clients with a range of adult and paediatric, neurological and rehabilitative conditions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
As a qualified Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration, you will be committed to delivering high quality clinical management for clients with a range of neurological or pediatric physiotherapy conditions. Utilising your experience in physiotherapy clinical practice, you will foster links within the University and the wider community to facilitate high-quality collaborative teaching and research.
