ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Governance team on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week with some flexibility in hours required). The Clinical Governance Support Coordinator andSenior Nurse will be based at our WA Head Office in QV1 Perth, providing support to our staff and clients.
DUTIES
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- General Clinical Governance
- Complaints and incident management
- Development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Accreditation and quality management
- Undertaking clinical audits in line with ISO requirements
- Assisting operations to meet legislative medical requirements
- Providing support and guidance for Occupational Health related projects
- Coordinating doctor and nurse education
- Assisting with nurse recruitment
- Managing nurse inductions
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
You will have a passion for providing clinical care, an interest in developing Clinical Governance skills and the ability work autonomously together with:
- An "eye' for detail and a desire to provide the best quality service to all staff and clients
- At least five years' experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Previous experience in occupational health and/or general practice (highly desirable)
- Experience in training including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable)
- Immunisation Certificate
- Flexibility to travel interstate when required by the business
- Current driver's licence
